Between the 20th and 23rd of April, the MICCA, a Festival organized by Pousada Namastê, took place and brought together various art languages such as circus, theater, music and plastic arts. It was curated by graffiti artist Ricardo AKN, with artists from São Paulo and natives, who interacted with the local community, painting large and beautiful murals in Cananéia and Ilha Comprida. Among the artists were Enivo (A7MA Gallery), Ricardo AKN (A7MA Gallery), Renan Santos, Rodrigo Branco, Gen Duarte (CRUA Gallery), Danilo Roots, WillShanti and Paulestinos.
MICCA – Ilha Comprida & Cananéia de Artes Exhibition – is an integrated arts event whose theme for this first edition is Street Art. The objective of the exhibition is to bring together groups, collectives and artists, who resist and persist in continuing to make art in different territories and contexts, for exchanges, reflections and public availability of their artwork for the population of Ilha Comprida, Cananéia and nearby locations.
