SÉRGIO FREE
                      "FROM WATER FOR WINE"

THE ALLUSION TO THE OFFICE

“From the water to the wine” seeks to mark significant moments, both in the ramification of influences and in the trajectory of the visual artist Sérgio Free.
Resignifying graffiti, from the stripped down messages printed on buildings, streets and alleys to the unique assemblage. A born artist, ingenious par excellence, he not only sews the layers of cities into his stories, but, in a curious noise of non-verbal provocations, he invites people to experience the supra-contemporary reality.

The whole work is invigorating, translates unique imagery and unprecedented experience, socially provocative and visually pleasurable.
In the 2000s, the artist left the ills of the big city and started to explore the coast, experiencing freedom and lightness in “surfing”, contact with the local permaculture.

The artist created his own urban landscape – tangible, satirically troubled and beautiful! Sérgio Free is, in this critic's opinion, one of the greatest visual artists of his time.

The exhibition “From the water to the wine”, by the visual artist Sérgio Free, will be on display at the A7MA Galeria. “It's a transition, everything starts with a village of sculptures,” reveals Rafael Zafalon, curator of the exhibition.
